   Folding, bracket matching, indent guides, column selection and find in selection; every tab strip gains a split button and a menu, and the file pane an Open Editors section. Scrolling gains the middle button held down, and a gesture now keeps one axis for its whole length, which is what made scrolling on a trackpad feel wrong.

   The redesign: the workspace is a set of rounded panels on a darker frame, and everything you rest on or pick is a rounded plate. Also: a Svelte component is coloured through, double-click selects a word, alt-click goes to the definition, ligatures are off in code, and a hash of the machine id travels with every request to the registry so a machine can be banned.
